SMModeling, Inc. is a Canadian company located in Edmonton, Alberta, incorporated in 2018.

We provide consulting services of our experts to help design multiple viable solutions to problems of interest using our high throughput computational chemistry and biology software packages.

SMModeling’s Proprietary Multiscale Modeling Software works simultaneously on many scales of liquid systems - different levels of the organism functioning. Our application ranges from energy systems to drug discovery. The SMModeling software package is a versatile, high-performance computing platform based on years of research done in the  group of Dr. Andriy Kovalenko. It is highly parallel and portable.

Galina Durant – CEO and Owner

 

Galina holds:

   •   Diploma in Public Administration, University of Victoria, BC

   •   Certificate in Marketing and Management, International Business Academy, New-York, USA

Galina was an official elected for municipal government in BC for 13 years. She is a recipient of   the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal in recognition of her contribution to Canada.

Dr. Andriy Kovalenko - Scientific Consultant

He earned his PhD degree in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics.

Dr. Kovalenko has been developing methodology and software implementation of statistical-mechanical,

molecular theory of solvation, coupling it with electronic, structure theories, molecular simulations,

and docking protocols in a platform of predictive multiscale theory & modeling of chemical, supramolecular, and biomolecular systems constituting new advances towards a general framework of multiscale methods.

Dipankar Roy – Scientific Advisor

Dipankar received his PhD in Chemistry at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay.  His areas of expertise are Molecular Solvation Theory, Machine Learning, Drug Delivery, Neurodegenerative Diseases.

Jenia Reynolds – Manager, Corporate Development and Marketing

​

Jenia has over 10 years of experience working with various industries. She received her

Master’s in business administration at the University of Northern British Columbia in 2011.

She joined SMModeling in 2022 as a Corporate Development and Marketing Consultant, the  role that includes marketing and project management for various projects.
